About

Bonnier Corporation is a group of magazine brands, including titles I worked at: Saveur, Garden Design, and Parenting. The parent company headquarters are in Stockholm, Sweden.

My role

I was the Digital Director for a number of sites, including Saveur.com and GardenDesign.com, with distributed teams in New York, NY and Orlando, FL. In addition to a site migration into a new CMS, I worked with editorial staff to rethink the content strategy for the site, centering around the brand’s unique collection of world recipes, starting a video program with one of the first viral videos, and building the travel section. As a digital director, I worked with the product team to redesign GardenDesign.com alongside a complete redesign of the magazine.

I also got to work at the headquarters in Stockholm for seven months, where I picked up a few Midsummer songs and a taste for cardamom buns.
